Blue Arc Trio (formerly known as 3 Legged Cat) is a high-energy jazz trio that plays carefully constructed music with passion and soul. 

Each of the members has achieved a high level of mastery over their instrument, yet plays with paramount respect for the ensemble and the groove.  They have spent time refining and honing their original compositions and they perform with sensitivity and an attention to the whole that sets them apart.

The result is a high energy performance that achieves intensity without having to resort to volume. Drawing upon influences ranging from New Orleans jazz and funk to electric fusion to Coltrane and Afro-Cuban and African traditions, they have developed a strong musical identity that is all their own. 

Following a year of regular rehearsal and composing, Blue Arc Trio has played some of the premier clubs in Seattle, including Mona’s, The Sunset Tavern, The Rainbow, The Owl n' Thistle, Norm's, the Tractor Tavern, and the Sit n’ Spin.  They have recorded a demo cd which is available at shows or by emailing this website and have a growing base of dedicated fans.
