| Chris Gomez engineered many of the
tracks on the Eric McFadden live cd; he worked on the fly and even
manufactured connections to split the feed to the soundboard.
The result was a recording so good, we released it. His
website http://www.gamelantemple.com/
is a site dedicated to the creation of music. |
| www.indarkness.com/idlerebellion
is a site by a friend of mine, Aaron Shakra, who is an
independent filmmaker and journalist in Eugene. Check it out! |
My
favorite Seattle band: These guys are brothers and play instruments
they made from scratch. A homemade drum set that defies
description and a plank, not a stick, a 10 string instrument not
strung backwards. Loops, effects, voices, experimentation and
composition. I jam with them from time to time and it is
always explosive, intuitive and beautiful. Please check them out whenever you can.
Music flows through their veins. http://www.neonbrown.com |

the website of SaxMan/Songwriter/Guitarist Greg Grant, put together by his
partner, Linda V (also known as the liquid chick). I recorded
on Greg's cd's Jupiter Watches in 2003 and Bisbe Street in 2002. Both albums also feature Guido Perla (of 3 Legged Cat) on drums. |
By the way, if you are interested in recording beautiful acoustic
music out in the middle of the woods, you absolutely MUST check out http://www.bigredstudio.com
This is the website for Billy
Oskay's incredible laboratory of auditory delights,
a full-service, impeccably designed and managed studio with an
equipment lit that will make your eyes bug out,
including more than a handful of vintage Neumann mics, a full-size
grand piano and a real plate reverb.
In addition, Billy is responsible for producing the finest bass
sound I have ever heard. He makes my instrument sing. |
| http://www.wayneklick.com
a very talented friend of mine who also happens to be in web design |
|
http://streaminghotcoffee.org/
quite the wicked little animated site, also by a friend. This site commemorates
and archives the Coffee Express, a live, improvised
overnight public radio show that I played on a couple of times back in Albuquerque, NM

| Seattle

my hometown double bass shop; I was lucky enough to grow up in
proximity to one of the finest violin shops in the world.
People send their instruments to Robertson's from all
over this country and the world. Bob Dougherty did amazing
restoration work on my 1940's Juzek, the bass in most of the photos
(including the background to this page) on this site. |
| http://www.gollihur.com/kkbass/basslink.html

| My brother-in-law Abeslin wanted me to

generally offensive site I have yet to see...you should love it.
