Live eviL Live Evil was a band from July 2002 to August 2003. We played a handful of gigs and never rehearsed; all our performances were completely improvised. Posted below are a few mp3 tracks recorded by Brian Willoughby at the Sunset Tavern in Seattle. Band personnel: James Whiton - double bass, Kevin Sawka - drums, Dave Z - Fender Rhodes, Dave Carter - trumpet & flugelhorn All tracks are improvised and spontaneous. All are original with the exception of Mingus Lives, which uses the bass line from "Haitian Fight Song" by Charles Mingus and quotes "It Don't Mean a Thing," by Ellington/Strayhorn
